The Seeka Educational Foundation, a US-based 501 (c)(3) organization supporting Seeka University, an American-style university in Ivory Coast (Côte d’Ivoire), is embarking on a fundraising campaign. Seeka University is situated in Yamoussoukro, the country’s political and administrative capital.
Seeka University’s mission is to educate a new generation of African leaders in the areas of entrepreneurship, technology and engineering. With the primary assumption that education must be holistic; Seeka University aims to prepare students with skills to become productive members of the society and self-reliant citizens. What better way to transform lives than to contribute to the education of a critical mass of entrepreneurial leaders who can favorably impact the development of Ivory Coast and Africa? Seeka University is a dynamic and entrepreneurial university established in 2021 that educates students who create, innovate, and set their own path in life. We are committed to making Seeka University a pillar of excellence in higher education in Ivory Coast.
Seeka University, whose medium of instruction is English, delivers high quality education in the areas of entrepreneurship, engineering, and technology. To this end, we use a blended learning approach combining face-to-face learning with local instructors, remote learning using different platforms with seasoned scholars from the United States and the rest of the world. Seeka University will create an entrepreneurial ecosystem throughout the region and the country. We will achieve this by establishing the Ivory Coast Innovation (IC-Innov) Initiative.
